Everything I was ever told about being a man was a lie.

Maybe it was the same for you. I was a boy back in the 80s and 90s and even then, it was all about pulling back and not being assertive. Let others take the lead, don’t stick your head out too much. Always let others take the forefront. Don’t play any rough sports.

It led to an early twenties of malaise, underachievement in all fields of life and complete stagnation in my career. But then I took up judo. I joined the army. I started to improve myself. That was all 20 years ago now and at 42, I feel like an absolute monster.

That’s because I’ve leaned into a lot of the traditional aspects of being a man, while keeping some of the more modern aspects that are beneficial.

I can help you become the monster you want to be.

What is a 1% man though? Also called an “outlier male,” it’s a guy who is at the upper end across multiple areas of life. Why aspire to be a fat, workaholic billionaire with no relationships when you can be well-off financially, healthy, not stressed, with a great family etc? Here’s what I’ll help you achieve:

I’m still learning and always improving, but I think I’ve got a decent amount to teach the average guy after my 42 years on this Earth…

  • I’ve competed at state level in powerlifting, and national level in both strongman and judo. When it comes to physical excellence, I’ve walked the walk.

  • I’ve coached a world-record holding powerlifter in addition to being an instructor while I was in the army.

  • I’m the author of Building the Elite Athlete.

  • I’m in a good job in the corporate world earning well above the average salary in one of the most expensive cities in the world.

  • I have excellent relationships with my family, friends and colleagues.

  • I was just named as one of four best newcomers to my industry - in the world.

Most importantly though, I’ve had my share of screw-ups. Some of them huge and life-changing. But unlike so many others, I learn from all my mistakes, both small and large.
