Well I don’t know about you, but the end of this year seems to be a bit manic for all of us. Everyone I know and talk to, regardless of industry, seems to be under the pump at the moment and people are struggling to keep up. If that’s you, take heart, the year is almost done.
I’m pretty exhausted myself at this point as we’re getting the house painted and floors put in, which means we’re sleeping in different places, the house is a mess and everyone is out of routine. I’m looking forward to things getting back to normal a bit more over the next couple of weeks.
In terms of the course material, we’re up to week 43, and I’ve decided that will be the final one of the 1% Man Project. That certainly doesn’t mean I’m going away though…
The idea behind the 1% Man Project was to provide a course that gave a new action each week to focus on for an entire year, with the idea that it would give you a solid grounding in everything you needed. This would be the foundation of your future, and you could then go off and continue your journey of self improvement and building a meaningful life.
I’ve decided to call it at 43 weeks for a couple of reasons:
Some people need more time on one or more of the modules. This allows a buffer zone of 9 extra weeks for people to work with throughout the course.
I didn’t want to finish right at the last week, because the final module is conducting a year end review, which is best done a couple of weeks before the very end of the year.
I’ll caveat this by saying that when I do compile everything, I may find one or two extra things that I really want to add in, but it won’t be anymore than that. If you’re curious, the first 30 weeks of the course took me 4 months of working a couple of hours every night last year. I left the remainder for this year, as I knew further modules would reveal themselves with feedback and the benefit of time.
Where to from here?
Week 43 will be next Sunday, concluding the course for those who are on it. From there, a few things are going to happen…
I’ll be compiling the course material into an interactive ebook.
People already on the course will get a copy sent to them free.
Anyone who wants to buy the course can, I’m going to charge $39 for it.
Once the course concludes, I’ll be posting every Sunday.
I expect to continue with a Wednesday-ish video on YouTube
The mid-week posts I was previously sending were always designed to fit with the course material for that week, but since that’s now finishing, I’ll be happy to take any of your suggestions on what you want to hear from me on.
If you’re interested in the book, it’ll probably take a couple of weeks to compile and another week or two to set up a way to sell it.
If you’re on the course right now
Feel free to cancel your payments in a week’s time. I’ll compile your names and send you a copy of the ebook as soon as it’s ready (it shouldn’t take long - a couple of weeks). As the monthly price of the course was both the material and access to support, I’m happy to continue to answer your questions until the end of the year.
See you next week.
